Ramesh G Chandra, MD, FACS - Medical Director
Dr Chandra is a well respected orthopaedic surgeon with sports medicine expertise and 24 years experience in the field. He is board certified by American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Chandra is the Medical Director of Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Inc. He is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of Arthroscopy Association of North America, International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Virginia Orthopaedic Society, Medical Society of Virginia, Washington Orthopaedic Society and Medical Society of Northern Virginia. He is the past two term Chairman of Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia Reston Hospital. He is the current chairman of Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia Fairfax Surgery Center.
Pooja C Pama - CEO
Ms. Pooja C Pama is the Chief Executive Officer of AMPS. She is also the Chief Operating Officer of Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, inc, which has been in business since 1988. Ms. Pama has vast experience in all aspects of healthcare operations. She is very sensitive to the needs of the healthcare industry. She has an extensive network of contacts in the US healthcare industry. She is very passionate about delivering the best quality service with emphasis on fairness, honesty, high morals and ethics. Her goal is to harness the best possible resources for her clients so that they are able to provide the highest level of services while ensuring maximum returns.
Michael A. Ercole, MSPT, CSCS - Director of Physical Therapy
Michael A. Ercole, MS, MSPT, CSCS directs quality control of the physical therapy division. Mr. Ercole received his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1989. During his post-graduate years, he taught Gross Anatomy at Boston University. Mr. Ercole is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association for his knowledge and capabilities in strength training and conditioning. He has used his expertise to help train student physical therapists by participating in physical therapy clinical rotations programs of the physical therapy departments of George Washington University, University of South California and Marymount University. Mr. Ercole holds the position of Director of Physical Therapy at Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Inc and has collaborated in developing the rehabilitation services of Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Inc for the past 16 years.
